A 11-month-old male youngster drowned in his home on Saturday evening, police mentioned on Sunday.

Sathish, a tailor of a non-public agency in Tiruppur, lived together with his spouse and two kids at Karumandichellipalayam close to Perundurai. According to the police, on Saturday night, his spouse went with their elder son to her relative’s home, whereas Sathish and their 11-month-old son Aakash stayed in the home. The youngster was enjoying inside the home when Sathish fell asleep.

When the lady returned residence, she discovered that the toddler had drowned inside a 20-litre bucket which was crammed with water. She raised alarm and, with the assistance of neighbours, the couple took the kid to a neighborhood physician, who after examination pronounced him useless.
