Girls water polo
Avery Emison and Maja Layden scored three goals and had three assists apiece to lift Tam to a 13-8 win against Archie Williams on Thursday night. Abby Brooks and Annabel Smith both scored twice for the Red-tailed Hawks. Smith also tallied three assists.
Girls tennis
Anna Lardner won at No. 1 singles to lead Branson to a 7-0 win against Archie Williams on Thursday. The Bulls had to work hard at No. 2 singles and No. 1 doubles to complete the sweep. Anna Rende battled Ana Fatjo before prevailing 6-3, 6-7 (9-11), (10-7) at No. 2 singles. Alexandra Zak and Sophie Liu picked up a 6-4, 2-6, (13-11) win over Siena Michelson and Sara Rice at No.1 doubles.
- Larkin Petersen and Annabelle Halloran won at Nos. 1 and 2 singles, respectively, leading Tam to a come-from-behind 5-2 win against Novato. Andi Cooper and Alicia Kim picked up wins at Nos 3 and 4 singles to stake the Hornets to an early 2-0 lead before Tam won the final five matches.
Women’s volleyball
Edee Leslie had four kills and Ella Jimenez had four blocks but Dominican fell 25-12, 25-17, 25-14 against Point Loma Nazarene on Thursday night.
Samantha Brown had 11 digs for the Penguins (0-10, 0-1 PacWest), who played their conference opener after the first two games were postponed.
