St. Joseph Hill and Notre Dame Academy did battle at the CHSAA girls’ cross country city championships, though it was the Hilltoppers who emerged with the sectional crown, while the Gators finished second. Hill finished second among the city ranks, while NDA took third. St. Francis Prep took first in the city.
NDA’s Lola Dineen finished with the top overall time of 15:19, followed by Hill’s Ava Gumb (15:34). NDA’s Alyssia Brown (15:36) came in third and teammate Meghan Leonard took fourth (16:22).
