A Class VIII scholar on Saturday ended his life by hanging himself in Joda city of Odisha’s Keonjhar district after his mother and father admonished him for spending lengthy hours on on-line video games paying large sums of cash.  According to sources, the mother and father of the scholar had given him a cell phone for on-line research functions through the Covid-19 lockdown interval.
