Apple provider Foxlink says working to renew manufacturing after India fireplace

TAIPEI, March 1 (Reuters) – Taiwanese Apple Inc (AAPL.O) provider Foxlink (2392.TW) mentioned on Wednesday it’s working laborious to renew manufacturing following a fireplace at a plant in southern India that halted operations on the maker of iPhone charging cables.

The manufacturing unit is positioned within the Chittoor district of India’s Andhra Pradesh state and is unlikely to resume full operations for 2 months, elevating provide chain issues for the U.S. tech big, Reuters reported this week.
