The summer time teaching camps are being held in 44 totally different sporting disciplines for youngsters between 6 years and 16 years at 915 centres throughout Hyderabad

Hyderabad: As a part of its annual Summer teaching camps, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) on Saturday organised a sports activities quiz competitors at Victory Play Ground, Chaderghat. The GHMC may also maintain sports activities tournaments from May 15 to May 19.

The summer time teaching camps are being held in 44 totally different sporting disciplines for youngsters between 6 years and 16 years at 915 centres throughout town. For these camps, the GHMC is availing the companies of 77 part-time and 712 honorarium coaches to coach youngsters.

Hundreds of children within the metropolis are making use of the continuing summer time teaching camps by coaching beneath these coaches. With a nominal payment being charged, important variety of youngsters from economically weaker sections are enrolling in these camps.

A nominal payment of Rs 50 is charged for shuttle badminton, curler skating, cricket, and tennis whereas a payment of Rs 10 is charged for different video games. These camps will proceed until May 31 and college students can register by visiting www.ghmc.gov.in/sports.
