Corporate finance veteran Michael Grau joins Madison Square Garden Entertainment Corp in a dual-capacity, with duties for overseeing the dwell leisure specialist’s monetary issues.

Effective from Feb. 12, Grau joins the enterprise as government VP, finance, then, following a transition interval, provides tasks of CFO from April 1.

In this position, Grau will work intently with MSG Entertainment’s government administration group to assist the long-term path of the corporate, reporting to MSG Entertainment’s government chairman and CEO James L. Dolan.

Also, he’ll present strategic monetary perception on all sides of the enterprise, and take care of monetary planning and evaluation, controllership, treasury, investor relations, tax, and procurement features.

Grau joins MSG Entertainment from Altice USA, the publicly-traded cable communications firm, the place he served as CFO. He took that position in 2019 following an almost 20-year profession at Cablevision Systems Corporation, which was acquired by Altice in 2016.

MSG Entertainment’s portfolio consists of New York’s Madison Square Garden, The Theater at Madison Square Garden, Radio City Music Hall, Beacon Theatre, and The Chicago Theatre, and the unique manufacturing, the Christmas Spectacular Starring the Radio City Rockettes.

The group last year finalized a spin-off that separated the pure-play dwell music enterprise from MSG Entertainment’s state-of-the-art venue in Las Vegas, sports activities tv community and hospitality companies.
