Bollywood’s superstar and actor par excellence Amitabh Bachchan has made it clear time and again that he has no plans of retiring soon. And hey, we are not complaining! From making quality cinema like Gulabo Sitabo to cracking PJs on social media, Big B has entertained us all in more ways than one. In fact, he loves what he does so much that even after fighting the novel diseases like COVID-19, the legendary actor is back at the grind and is shooting of his popular game show Kaun Banega Crorepati which arguably has a separate fan base for itself.
And it seems like the fan-mania has only grown over the years, and the euphoria can hardly be contained in the show’s 12th season. Amitabh Bachchan who has made a “Comeback after a setback” even took to social media to share pictures from the shooting and the controlled set and it is inspiring to say, the least. He even took to his blog and wrote, “The challenges are different, the environ filled with a quiet acceptance of the prevailing circumstances and conditioning but the sincerity of moving ahead despite the spirit , the resolve and the determination to bring continuity , to bring back the lost in gain and to strive for a victorious beginning.”

Earlier, documenting shooting for first in a long time in a post-COVID world, Bachchan had penned, “Getting in front of the cameras again…was it weird, different feel after this long furlough .. Don’t know. There is a loss of camaraderie. No one speaks unless its work related. It’s like a laboratory where some rather deep scientific experiments abound. This was never expected, never the time to see such visuals but there it is…recognised faces now unrecognisable and the doubts whether we are in the right place, with the right people. But we muster up the fears and be on.”
Meanwhile, he will soon be in a lot of highly-anticipated films like Nagraj Manjule’s sports film Jhund, based on the life of NGO Slum Soccer founder Vijay Barse. He will also be seen in Chehre alongside Emraan Hashmi and Ayan Mukerji’s ambitious Brahmastra which also stars Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor.
