AMRITSAR: Border Security Force (BSF) on Sunday repatriated a septuagenarian Pakistani nationwide, Hakim Ali, who had inadvertently entered India.
A BSF spokesperson mentioned that the 75-year-old resident of Kasur, Pakistan, had crossed over to Bhakhara village in Ferozpur sector of Indian Punjab.
He was apprehended by the BSF troops and upon investigation it was discovered that Ali had inadvertently entered India. Besides the BSF didn’t discover something objectionable in his possession.
The spokesperson mentioned that the BSF approached their Pakistani counterparts and lodged a protest earlier than handing him over to them as a goodwill gesture.
