The COMPASS Entertainment Complex, 100 Entertainment Drive, Irvington, a multi-screen movie cinema, full-service restaurant and family entertainment center, is scheduled to open to the public on September 4.
Highlights of the new entertainment center include an arcade, bumper cars, batting cages, mini-golf, go-karts, climbing walls, a virtual reality arena, and rope courses, as well as the region’s first multi-screen movie theater, COMPASS Cinema Six and Meridian Bar & Grill.
Owners Julien Patterson and Terri Wesselman said the facility is fully prepared to meet and exceed Virginia Department of Health and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines for safe operations during this COVID-19 era.
“We cannot wait to open our doors to the public, but we will do it safely for everyone involved,” said Patterson. “We are very conscious of the safety of our guests and employees, and we’re very happy about how it has come together.
