BANGUI (Reuters) – Darfur militia leader Ali Kushayb, wanted by the International Criminal Court to face war crimes charges, was arrested in Central African Republic (CAR) and has been transferred to The Hague, a CAR government source said on Tuesday.
A plane carrying Kushayb left CAR on Tuesday after he was arrested in the northern town of Birao, the source said.
