Following the arrest of Sushant Singh Rajput‘s manager Samuel Miranda on Friday Night (September 3), his domestic helper, Dipesh Sawant was also arrested by the NCB last night (September 4). Both Samuel and Dipesh were expected to be produced in the court today and accordingly, Dipesh Sawant was taken by Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) officials for his medical examination before being produced before the court.

However, as per the latest developments, Dipesh has been sent to NCB custody till September 9. Sawant was arrested by NCB yesterday for his role in procuring and handling of drugs. “We want to meet Rhea in front of Showik and Samuel to find out if she had any role in pushing Sushant into drugs,” an official said. With Showik and Samuel, now Dipesh has also been remanded in NCB’s custody till September 9.

In the latest development, Dipesh’s lawyer has issued a statement against NCB for keeping Dipesh in custody for over 24 hours.

Meanwhile, Rhea has been summoned by NCB at the office. Ahead of NCB interrogation. her lawyer stated that she is ready for the arrest. As per a report in ANI, Rhea’s lawyer stated, “#RheaChakraborty is ready for arrest as it’s a witch-hunt. If loving someone is a crime she’ll face the consequences of her love. Being innocent she hasn’t approached any court for an anticipatory bail in all cases foisted by Bihar Police with CBI, ED & NCB.”
