A Star Wars-themed resort at Walt Disney World is being shut down a few 12 months after opening, the company announced.
The resort, which is marketed as a two-night immersive expertise, will take its final bookings Sep. 28 to 30. New bookings are being paused till May 26 to first accommodate those that made reservations after September.
“We are so proud of all of the Cast Members and Imagineers who brought Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser to life and look forward to delivering an excellent experience for Guests during the remaining voyages over the coming months,” Disney mentioned. “Thank you to our Guests and fans for making this experience so special.”
The two-night packages begin at about $4,800 for 2 individuals, and go as much as $5,299 for 2 adults and one baby and $5,999 for 3 adults and one baby. Prices embrace lodging, meals and admission to Hollywood Studios.
Upon arriving, visitors enter a launch pod to board the Halcyon starcruiser, keep in a room with an area view and are capable of work together with the franchise’s characters all through the ship.
