During its annual September 15 event on Tuesday, Apple debuted a number of new products including the Apple Watch Series 6, Apple One services bundle, and a new iPad Air. As rumoured before, Apple didn’t debut the iPhone 12 lineup at its September 15 event. In case you missed the keynote, but still want to know about all the new products launched at the event, scroll down for a quick recap. Here’s everything Apple announced at its “Time Flies” event.
Apple Watch Series 6
Apple has used its September event to announce the Apple Watch Series 6. The next-generation model has the same design as the Series 4 and Series 5, but features improved internals and new finishes – including an oximeter sensor. With an oximeter sensor, Apple Watch Series 6 is capable of measuring blood oxygen levels. The new blood oxygen lets you take a measurement in just 15 seconds. It stores periodic background readings, including while you sleep. Apple Watch Series 6 comes with the new faster S6 chip, with improved performance and new sensors, including an altimeter. The new model starts at Rs 40,900 in India.
Apple Watch SE
In addition, Apple also announced the new Apple Watch SE. It has the same design as the Series 5, but it features the S5 chip, watchOS 7 and a built-in compass. The affordable Apple Watch SE will be available in 40mm and 44mm with GPS and Cellular versions. Apple Watch SE will be available at a starting price of Rs 29,900 for the 40mm GPS aluminum model.
Apple Fitness+
As rumoured earlier, Apple has announced its new fitness service, designed around the Apple Watch. It’s called Apple Fitness+, and will cost $9.99 per month, or $79.99 per year. The service will offer workout classes spanning many categories, including cycling and yoga. Apple says it will add new workout sessions on a weekly basis.
Apple One service bundles
The long-rumoured Apple One plans are official. Apple One brings together Apple Music, Apple TV Plus, Apple Arcade, Apple News Plus, and iCloud storage under one roof. Apple One will come in individual plans for $14.95 a month. Family plans are $19.95 a month and a Premier plan is $29.95 a month.
New iPad lineup
The entry-level iPad has been updated with the A12 Bionic chip. It has the same design as the previous model but now features the advanced A12 Bionic chipset. Apple touts the new iPad is more powerful than rival laptops and tablets. The iPad 8th generation is available for Rs 29,900 in India.
All-new iPad Air
Ápple also announced the all-new iPad Air that now resembles the iPad Pro. Unlike the iPad Pro which uses FaceID, the new iPad Air gets a redesigned TouchID that is embedded inside the power button at the top of the device. The iPad Air is powered by A14 Bionic, the same processor which will also power the iPhone 12. Apple’s A14 Bionic is built on 5nm technology with 11.8 billion transistors. The new iPad Air now comes with USB-C and an improved camera. The new model appears to be a solid alternative to high-end Windows laptops. It will be available next month priced from Rs 54,900.

Starting tomorrow, consumers will be able to download iOS 14, iPadOS 14, watchOS 7, and tvOS 14 on their iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and Apple TV. These updates include major new features.
