Jakhar in two separate tweets on Thursday made clear that all is not well in the party in the border state.
Jakhar’s name was almost cleared for the next chief minister after the resignation of Amarinder Singh on September 19, but last minute manoeuvrings, allegedly by Sidhu, changed the script.
After Sidhu raised questions over appointments of director general of police and advocate general by the new chief minister Charanjit Singh Channi, Jakhar tweeted on Thursday: ‘Enough is enough. Put an end to attempts to undermine the authority of CM time and again.”

Amarinder, commenting on the interference of Sidhu in the government, had kind words for Sunil Jakhar and said he had done a good job.

Jakhar in his second tweet of the day reciprocated the gesture defending Captain Amarinder Singh, wrote ‘kuch to majboorian rahi hongi, yun to koi bewafa nahi hota (there must be some compulsions, nobody ditches without reason) along with posting Captain’ picture with union home minister Amit Shah.
