While we can always go to our local chaatwala to grab a bite, it is a different fun altogether to make it at home.
What’s more exciting is that you can make chaat out of even the simplest of ingredients at home and make a healthier version of it. Legumes such as kala chana is one of the most popular ingredients in chaats; and with the summer season right here, we’ve got raw mango to make our chaats all the more tantalising!

Easy Kala Chana And Raw Mango Chaat Recipe:
Here is a light, wholesome, tasty yet healthy aam chana chaat that can be your perfect summer meal for breakfast, brunch or a guilt-free evening meal!
In the recipe, soaked and sprouted black chana are boiled and mixed with chopped veggies such as carrot, cucumber, onion, tomato along with raw mango. It is then mixed with lemon juice and tangy spices such as chaat masala, red chilli powder and salt. You can garnish with green and sweet chutneys on top if you wish to add.
Kala chana is a rich source of protein and fibre that makes it a great addition to our diet. In this chaat recipe, kala chana combined with the goodness of carrot and summer essentials such as cucumber and raw mango, makes it a healthy meal to relish during the day.
