As per the information received, victim Fazil’s attackers had their faces masked during the murder. He was critically injured in the attack and died on the way to the hospital.
Mumbai: On Thursday night another shocker has come from the state of Karnataka when a 23-year-old man named Mohammed Fazil was stabbed and killed just two days after the killing of BJP youth wing leader Praveen Nettaru on Tuesday night. The gruesome incident took place in Mangalore in Mohammed Fazil’s hometown while he was talking to someone, the killer stepped out of his car with his face masked, came running towards him, and stabbed him.
The ferocious attack was caught on CCTV camera and the police said that it was done in the same pattern as the previous one. Fazil was repeatedly beaten and stabbed with a stick. Even after he collapsed and a mannequin fell on him, one of the men kept hitting him.

As per the police commissioner, “At around 8 pm (on July 28), there was an incident where a 23-year-old boy was brutally attacked by 4-5 people near Krishnapura Katipalla road, Surathkal. The boy was immediately shifted to a hospital and was declared dead, the man was attacked using a lethal weapon, and a case has been filed at Surathkal police station. Section 144 has also been imposed at Surathkal, Mulki, Bajpe, and Panambur in Mangalore.”
“The reason for attack is not yet known and the investigation is underway” said the police.
Police further added that, Ordinances prohibiting large gatherings were in place until July 30 and no one is allowed to walk outside after 10 pm. All liquor stores remain closed and 19 checkpoints have been set up, including at the Karnataka-Kerala border, where all vehicles will be searched.
The Karnataka Home Minister Araga Gnanendra has said that the attackers will be punished.
