The Commemorative Air Force’s Airbase Arizona will bring one of the most iconic warplanes from World War II to Warrenton–Fauquier Airport from Monday through Sept. 7. The Flying Fortress Sentimental Journey was one of more than 12,000 manufactured for combat during the war. The B-17 bomber will be open for ground tours 2-6 p.m. Monday; 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday; and 2-6 p.m. Friday through Monday. Rides are also available for purchase.
