This is the first shoot Mahesh Babu has resumed after lockdown, during unlock 4. The actor did not just shoot for the ad on Wednesday, he’ll be shooting for it today, on Thursday too.

While fans were happy about this update, Mahesh Babu made their day even better by sharing a monochrome picture of his new look on social media. Revealing that it was clicked post packup, he wrote, “Missed your post pack up shots!! Good to be back @avigowariker.” (sic) In the picture, Mahesh Babu can be seen looking young and dashing as ever, debuting a slightly longer hairstyle, just like the one that was teased in the announcement poster of Sarkaru Vaari Paata.

Namrata Shirodkar shared the picture on her social media too, excited to share his new look, lauding the photographer on taking such a good picture. He gushed, “It was great fun. .But what your Naura is looking Boss…in his long hair & lean body!!!” (sic) Namrata replied and stated that lockdown suited Mahesh Babu, “hahaahaha!! Thank you! Lockdown is suiting him I must say!! And ur photographic skills through ur lens.” (sic)

Fans couldn’t help but go gaga and share the new look on social media, commenting on how they can’t wait to see his new avatar on-screen. Mahesh Babu’s last release, Sarileru Neekevvaru, which hit screens this Sankranti saw him as an army major. His next film Sarkaru Vaari Paata will see him team up with director Parasuram Petla of Geetha Govindam fame. The film was announced recently and is yet to begin shoot. Mahesh Babu, in the meanwhile, is cherishing time with his wife and kids Sitara and Gautam at home.
