Staff and students in a Head Start classroom on the Alcona Community Schools campus are self-isolating after a probable case of coronavirus was discovered in connection with the Northeast Michigan Community Service Agency run class.
Superintendent Dan O’Connor on Friday notified parents of the potential exposure in a letter. He said it also impacted the district’s “Horse” bus route.
Quarantined students will continue learning remotely at home, and O’Connor said they hope students can return by Oc. 6.
