MINT HILL — Novant Health Mint Hill Medical Center held it’s groundbreaking ceremony on Friday for its emergency division enlargement.
The enlargement is supposed to permit extra entry to its providers.
The challenge will add 19 rooms, which is double the scale of the present division. Thirteen rooms shall be therapy rooms, two for trauma, and 4 for behavioral well being.

There can even create area for brand new cardiology and radiology providers and extra.
“This expansion will enhance that experience and allow our team of highly skilled and specialized clinicians to reach even more people in need of emergency and imaging services,” President and Chief Operating Officer of Novant Health Mint Hill Medical Center, Joy Greear mentioned.
Since the middle opened 5 years in the past, the emergency division has had greater than 125,000 visits.
The challenge is anticipated to be completed by fall of 2025.
