Hollywood’s huge night time, the 96th Academy Awards, are on and early winners included two actors who’ve cleaned up this award season. Robert Downey Jr gained the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for his position in Oppenheimer, and Da’Vine Joy Randolph was named Best Supporting Actress for The Holdovers.
Anatomy Of A Fall and American Fiction gained Best Original and Best Adapted Screenplay respectively. Poor Things gained Best Production Design, Best Costume Design, and Best Makeup and Hair.
The Oscar nominations this 12 months made headlines for 3 notable omissions – snubs have been delivered to Barbie director and lead star Greta Gerwig and Margot Robbie, and Killers Of The Flower Moon actor Leonardo DiCaprio.
