Toyota Motor Poland and the Polish gas monopolist PGNiG have signed an agreement on cooperation in the development of hydrogen technology in Poland, PGNiG reported in a press release. Part of the agreement includes a pilot hydrogen refuelling station.
The May-announced PGNiG hydrogen research programme covers the production of hydrogen, including “green hydrogen” using renewable energy sources, hydrogen storage and distribution, as well as applications in industrial energy. The programme also includes the operation of hydrogen refuelling stations. PGNiG has already signed a contract with a Polish-British consortium for its design and construction.
