BALDWIN Twp. – The Botanical Company provisioning center announced Friday that it will hold a donation drive at its Tawas provisioning center to collect needed supplies for local schools.
Customers are encouraged to drop off school supplies during store hours from Aug. 28 through Sept. 13. All donations will be coordinated with local school organizations.
“Our employees live and work in this community and want to do everything they can to see it prosper. One of the biggest challenges at the start of every school year is helping to make sure our classrooms have the supplies they need,” said The Botanical Co. owner and CEO Russ Chambers. “This is our way of being a good neighbor and helping to give back to the community. Even if you are not a customer, we hope people will consider participating in support of our local schools.”
Those who donate supplies will receive bonus points toward The Botanical Co.’s customer loyalty program. Loyalty members earn points for every dollar spent at the provisioning center, which can later be redeemed toward their purchases.
“We appreciate how welcoming the Tawas area community has been to our store and our employees wanted to make sure we show the love back, so we are all thrilled about this program,” said The Botanical Co. General Manager Danielle Ross. “Hopefully, this is something we’ll be able to repeat for years to come.”
The Botanical Co. store is located at 1885 E. US-23 in Baldwin Township. Store hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays.
