Two Indians amongst three killed in Canada aircraft crash; probe on | Mumbai News

A 25-year-old trainee pilot from Vasai in Mumbai was killed together with two others when their aircraft crashed in Canada’s British Columbia province in Chilliwack metropolis, almost 100 km from Vancouver, on Friday. The trainee pilot was recognized by the authorities as Abhay Gadroo.

The aircraft, a Piper PA-34 Seneca, a twin-engined mild plane, crashed into bushes and bushes behind a motel, killing all three onboard. Besides Gadroo, there was one other Indian onboard. Local authorities are investigating the crash.

Gadroo’s childhood buddy Gaurav Goel stated he left India in 2021 for business pilot licence coaching. “He was to complete his 200 hours’ training in Canada after which he planned to return to India,” Goel stated.

On Saturday morning, Gadroo’s household obtained a name from Canadian authorities informing them concerning the crash. Gadroo is survived by his dad and mom and a youthful brother.

The youthful brother is finishing the formalities in Canada to deliver again Gadroo’s physique to India for his last rites.

Gadroo’s household initially hails from Kashmir and has been staying in Krishna Vandan Society at Evershine City. Goel remembered him as very useful and jolly. “He was very active in sports. He had a smiling face and was very extrovert. He would go out of his way to help others,” Goel stated.
