The NFL cut day came and went this past week as every NFL team was to cut down from upward of 80 players that they carried through the offseason to the Week 1 limit of 53 players on their roster. Some cuts were a bit surprising while others were not shocking.
The Pac-12 is well represented at the professional level and with that, we counted down how many athletes landed on NFL rosters from each team.
The UCLA Bruins sported 24 players on active rosters, trailing just Washington and Stanford who led the Pac-12 with 27 players.
Particularly interesting, the Bruins topped the USC Trojans who had only 23.
Let’s count them down:
Eli Ankou, DT, Indianapolis Colts
Devin Asiasi, TE, New England Patriots
Anthony Barr, LB, Minnesota Vikings
Jayon Brown, LB, Tennessee Titans
Kenny Clark, DL, Green Bay Packers
Matt Dickerson, DE, Tennessee Titans
Ka’imi Fairbairn, K, Houston Texans
Darnay Holmes, CB, New York Giants
Brett Hundley, QB, Arizona Cardinals
Myles Jack, LB, Jacksonville Jaguars
Andre James, OL, Las Vegas Raiders
Joshua Kelley, RB, Los Angeles Chargers
Eric Kendricks, LB, Minnesota Vikings
Marcedes Lewis, TE, Green Bay Packers
Cassius Marsh, DE, Jacksonville Jaguars
Conor McDermott, OL, New York Jets
Takkarist McKinley, DE, Atlanta Falcons
Kolton Miller, OT, Atlanta Falcons
Fabian Moreau, CB, Washington Football Team
Scott Quessenberry, OL, Los Angeles Chargers
Matthew Slater, WR, New England Patriots
Xavier Su’a-Filo, OL, Cincinnati Bengals
Jacob Tuloti-Mariner, DT, Atlanta Falcons
Kenny Young, LB, Los Angeles Rams
That’s a lot of Bruins in the NFL. Way to represent Westwood!
