HANCEVILLE, Ala. –  For anybody who likes to be entertained, the Wallace State Alumni Association has the right day journeys so that you can get pleasure from a day of music and extra.

Seats stay for the Alumni Association’s May 16 journey to Nashville for a cruise down the Cumberland River on the General Jackson Showboat, which features a three-course lunch and leisure. The “Tennessee Legends” manufacturing shares Smoky Mountain tales from Dolly Parton and music made well-known by a few of the Music City’s legendary Grand Ole Opry stars. On Aug. 2, a visit to the Alabama Shakespeare Festival in Montgomery will give vacationers an opportunity to see a reside manufacturing of the Broadway musical “Cabaret.” Set in 1931 Berlin, “Cabaret” follows the story of a younger American author named Cliff and his relationship with English cabaret performer Sally Bowles, portrayed by Liza Minnelli within the 1972 movie.
