Women’s Volleyball:
The Mount Royal Cougars ladies’s volleyball group traveled to Edmonton to play the MacEwan Griffins this weekend, profitable 3-0 (26-24, 25-16, 25-21) on Friday and 3-0 (25-19, 29-27, 25-22) on Saturday. Following the back-to-back wins, the ladies claimed the third spot on the U SPORTS Top 10 checklist.
Nyadholi Thokbuom was unstoppable Friday evening within the center incomes 13 kills, whereas Sarah McKillican had 13 digs. Emma Boyd was the chief on Saturday evening, incomes 12 kills and a pair of blocks. Boyd was arrange by Quinn Pelland who added 33 assists to the board.

Men’s Volleyball:
The Mount Royal Cougars males’s volleyball group beat the MacEwan Griffins this weekend, 3-0 on Friday (25-22, 29-27, 27-25) and 3-0 on Saturday (25-23, 25-20, 25-19) on the street. The wins prolonged their file to 19-5, clinched them 2nd within the Canada West Division, and earned them 4th on the U SPORTS Top 10 checklist.
Chris Byam had 18 kills on Friday evening, whereas Jacob van Geel added 10 digs and Luis Lange had 3 blocks. Athlete of the week, Max Haronga had 12 kills and 9 digs Saturday evening as effectively, with Cody Boulding defending the center with 4 blocks.
