At least two individuals have been killed as a practice ran over passengers who had been attempting to flee a “fire” on board an categorical practice on the Kalajharia railway station in Jharkhand’s Jamtara. The Eastern Railways has shaped a three-member crew to probe the incident.

Jharkhand Health Minister Banna Gupta’s workplace launched a press release and mentioned: “A train ran over passengers at the Kalajharia railway station in Jamtara. There is information about the death of some people. After receiving this information, Health and Disaster Management Minister Banna Gupta instructed the Jamtara Deputy Commissioner to continue the relief and rescue work. He also directed the Civil Surgeon Jamtara for proper treatment of the injured and asked to strengthen the system in hospitals.”
President Droupadi Murmu condoled the deaths and mentioned: “The news of the sudden death of many people in a train accident in Jamtara district of Jharkhand is extremely saddening. I express my deepest condolences to the bereaved families and pray for the speedy recovery of those injured.”
