The League of Women Voters of Northeast Michigan will continue to register voters at Alpena Community College, outdoors by the Besser Technical Center door near the parking lot. The registration opportunities for students and the public will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. today and on Tuesday, Oct. 13.
Anyone wanting non-partisan voter information or needing help with voter registration is encouraged to stop by the LWV table on the ACC campus. Twenty people registered to vote at League’s previous ACC registration in September.
The League offers non-partisan information to voters from now until the Nov. 3 election in three ways: viewing online Candidate Forums, reading local and state Voter Guides, and checking Vote411.org.
Candidate Forums for Alpena and Alcona Counties can be viewed on the LWV Northeast Michigan Face book page (https.//www.facebook.com/lwvalpena) The forums can be viewed from now until election day.
State and local Voter Guides have been printed from information from Vote411.org, and can be picked up at Alpena Community College Library at a table outside the library, and at Alcona County Library in Harrisville.
