Texas RS Skylar Fields has been named The Sports Imports/AVCA Division 1 Women Player of the Week for the sixth week of the volleyball season. 

Fields helped Texas post weekend wins over West Virginia to stay undefeated and ranked No. 1 in the AVCA Top 25 Poll. The junior had 16 kills and no errors in the first match for a .593 hitting percentage and backed that up with 15 kills to hit .481 in the second match.

Fields was also named the Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week, her second Big 12 weekly award of the season.
