This week’s female bowler of the week is Alexis Neuer, who rolled a 695 series on the sport shot in the Three-Man Major League. Stacey Gridley fired a 278 game in the Susquehanna Health League to run away with the women’s top game honors for the week.
For the men, Cody Daldo rolled the first 800 series of his career, an 809 in the Monday Night Classic League, but was eclipsed for best series of the week by Shawn Pepperman’s 811 the following night in the Intercommunity League.
In the high-game department, Brad Pepperman strung the last 11 strikes twice, for games of 290, one in the Monday Night Classic League and one in the Intercommunity League.

Sometimes, you got to be lucky. According to the USBC record books, Milford, Connecticut’s Leon Kloeppner holds the record for most consecutive Brooklyn strikes in a 300 game, by stringing 12 Brooklyn strikes in one perfect game.
Or was he smart enough to take what the lanes gave him by deliberately aiming for the Brooklyn? A Brooklyn refers to a ball that crosses over to the other side of the head pin opposite of the side it was thrown.
