20 years of aid: America’s ongoing support for Africa’s public health (July 15)

Over the past 20 years, the United States has invested more than $100 billion in the health of sub-Saharan African nations.

This makes the United States the largest donor in the world to sub-Saharan Africa and a leading partner in fighting COVID-19.

The U.S. has already donated more than a quarter of a billion dollars in equipment, training and education to help countries defeat the coronavirus and will continue to partner with Africa to help recover from the virus.
