ARCHERY
Allen County: The Allen County Archers will be holding 3-D shoots the first Saturday and Sunday of each month through September. It is open to all equipment.They are also holding traditional 3-D shoots on the third Saturday of the month all year long. They are open to all archery equipment.

BASKETBALL
Elida: The Dakota Mathias Camp will be held July 23-24 at Elida Fieldhouse. Sessions for those in kindergarten through fourth grade will be held from 9 a.m. to noon and those in fifth through eighth grades will have sessions from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. Camp will stress fun and fundamentals. The experienced staff will include professional basketball players as well as current and former college players from all divisions to teach skills. Daily instruction on dribbling, passing, shooting, defense, guard skills, and post play. Elite guest speakers and professional experience sets this camp apart from others. CYCLING
Lima: Registration is open for the River Ride to be held July 25. This will be a full-service tour with sag service, swept paths, rest stops, Cracker Barrel box lunch and live music. Delaware: On Oct. 10, BrushPile Fishing will be playing host to the “Never Give Up. Never Quit” Veterans Day Crappie Tournament.” This year it will be hosted at Delaware Lake. The tournament will be one day with two-person teams. Top three places will win cash prizes and the top five places will qualify to participate in the Crappie USA National Tournament held at Green River Lake in Campbellsville, Kentucky, on Oct. 23 and 24. Lima: The Football is Life Youth Football camp for boys and girls ages 6 to 18 will be held at Robb Park from 4-7 p.m. July 20-23. Coaches will consist of current and former NFL, college and Arena Football players. Scheduled to take part are Harley Watkins, Terrill Minor, Darius Gordon, Juniel Liles, Tevin Hale and Brian Andrews. T-shirts will be included as well as a prize for camp MVP. Cost is $30. Lima: The Lima/Allen County Chamber of Commerce’s 52nd annual Chamber Golf Classic will be Wednesday, Aug. 5, with tee times from 8 a.m. until noon. If allowed, there will be an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start. The locations of the Golf Classic will be Hidden Creek Golf Club and Colonial Golfers Club. Registrations now being accepted. Register a foursome or be placed with a foursome; tickets are $95 per golfer or $380 for a foursome. There are also 50/50 raffle tickets available for $10 each. Waynesfield: The 16th annual CMM West (Children’s Medical Missions West) Outing will be held Sunday, Aug. 9, at Prairie View. Ottawa: Big Brothers Big Sisters of Putnam County has rescheduled its ninth annual Golf For Kids’ Sake scramble event to Sunday, Aug; 30 at Pike Run Golf Club, 10807 Road H, Ottawa, beginning with a shotgun start at 1 p.m. The cost per team is $260, which includes golf for four, two carts, range balls, drink tickets, goodie bags, and two meals. In addition, there are prizes for the first, second, third and highest score and hole prizes. A lunch sponsored by Arby’s will be given to participants prior to play and meals prepared by Uncle Bucks BBQ will be provided for dinner during the awards immediately following the event. First place will be $400 and par 3 holes will have hole in one prizes: including a chance at $10,000 hole in one prize. Door prizes will be accepted up to the day of the event. Grand Lake: The Grand Lake Fall League is taking registrations for the 2020 Fall League. The Fastpitch Softball league will be divided up into four divisions this year: ninth through 12th grade, sixth through eighth grade, third through fifth grade and a travel team division for 16 and under and 18 and under teams. The league will play two games on Sundays for five weeks; there are no practices as to avoid any conflicts with fall sports.
