In a horrific incident, an Indian 22-year-old youth allegedly beheaded his youthful sister on Friday morning for her relationship with a person of the identical neighborhood in Mithwara village of UP’s Barabanki district, practically 50 km from Lucknow. The accused, Riyaz, was arrested and booked beneath IPC Section 302 (homicide), stated Barabanki police.

Locals alerted cops when the youth was strolling down the road holding his sister’s severed head. The accused surrendered earlier than the cops with none resistance and confessed to his crime, stated DK Singh, SP (Barabanki). The sufferer was recognized as Aashifa, 18.

During interrogation, the youth instructed cops he was upset as his sister was in a relationship with one Chand Babu of the identical neighborhood from her village. Aashifa had even eloped together with her lover previously, after which her father registered a grievance on this regard, stated Singh.

Babu was despatched to jail and Aashifa was handed over to relations as she was a minor then, he added.

The accused instructed cops that his sister was once more creating a gentle nook for Chand Babu, as a consequence of which relations confronted social humiliation. “Riyaz beheaded his sister with a sharp-edged weapon in his house after a spat with her over the issue.
