The year 2020 has been a disruptive, scary, and trying year for many people and businesses, but one thing remains the same … people are still battling the ugly disease of cancer.

Due to social gathering and safety restrictions in place, the One Ball Foundation has made the decision to cancel the annual One Ball “Whiffle Ball” Tournament this year, but the foundation remains committed to raising awareness about testicular cancer and helping those in treatment.

Following NYS guidelines golf tournaments are still being allowed, and can be organized and run with the necessary structure and precautions in place; therefore the One Ball Foundation will be hosting the fifth annual One Ball “Stack Your Balls” Golf Scramble for Testicular Cancer at Cardinal Hills Golf Course in Randolph on Saturday, Sept. 19. Entry fee is $280 per team (includes lunch and dinner) with a 10 a.m. shotgun start.

“Stack Your Balls” is a fun format where players can stack multiple birdie/eagle putts on top of each other on the same hole. Each team will post a regular scramble score and a “Stack Your Balls” score.

The One Ball Foundation realizes that discretionary funds are tight this year, and as a result is lowering its tee-sign donation fee to $25 for those interested in supporting the event and cause.

All proceeds benefit One Ball Foundation, a local 501(c)3 nonprofit organization whose mission is to raise awareness about testicular cancer and help support those in treatment. Registration deadline is Sept. 10. The tournament is limited to the first 32 teams to pre-register and pay.
