Dave was born in Isabella, Pa., to Andrew and Sue Trosky Rable on May 15, 1933.

He married Laura Luketic on Oct. 19, 1957. This October would have made 63 wonderful years of marriage.

He worked as an inspector at Van Huffel Tube then finished his career at Sawhill Tube before retirement in 1995. He was a veteran and served in the Army as a paratrooper for three years. He regularly attended services at St. William Church in Champion.

He was an avid hunter who loved the outdoors. He was one of Champion’s biggest fans and spent many nights under the lights supporting the high school teams. His love of sports carried into the summers and Sundays in the fall rooting for the Pirates and the Steelers.

Dave was preceded in death by his parents and five brothers.

He is survived by his spouse, Laura Rable; his four children and their spouses, Dave and Karla Rable, Steve and Donna Rable, Greg and Peggy Rable and Diane Holland; his 12 grandchildren; and his 10 great-grandchildren.

Arrangements were handled by Borowski Funeral and Oak Meadow Cremation Services.
