WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – A weekly radio show will give Boilermaker fans the chance to hear from coaches, student-athletes and administrators throughout the fall.
Purdue Sports Weekly debuts tomorrow night (Sept. 9) at 6:05 p.m. ET, and will run each Wednesday through the week of Thanksgiving. The hour-long show can be heard statewide on the Purdue Radio Network and the TuneIn app. Fans can also watch a video feed of the show on the Purdue Athletics Facebook page and the Purdue Sports Twitter feed. The program will originate from the Kissell Center in Ross-Ade Stadium but will not have a live audience.
Guests for the first show are:
- Head Football Coach Jeff Brohm
- Vice President – Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Mike Bobinski
- Track & Field Student-Athlete Samara Miller, who serves as President of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee
- College Football Hall of Famer Mark Herrmann, who now serves as Director of Leadership and Alumni Engagement for the John Purdue Club
The show will be hosted by football and women’s basketball play-by-play voice Tim Newton.
In addition to conversations with the week’s guests, the fan vote winner for that week’s Dream Season football broadcast will be announced during the show. Updates also will be provided on the More Than A Game campaign being undertaken by Purdue Athletics.
