Printed copies are not available because — despite a partial re-opening in Orange County — all our usual distribution sites remain closed due to the COVID-19 lockdown — but we enourage you to download your own free printable copy of our July 2020 Dining Arts and Entertainment guide (OCB DARTS).

Consider signing up to be a DARTS Champion through Patreon. All DARTS Champions will be mailed their copy of our monthly DARTS by first-class USPS as soon as we receive the printed copies from our printer.

From front cover to back page, all six pages of our August 2020 Dining Arts and Entertainment guide will help you get through self-quarantine.

The cover illustration announces a new initiative from Cypress Recreation and Community Services — Parking Lot Cinema. The first of a series of three events in July “sold out” quickly. (The event is free but reservations are required.) Also featured on the cover: the Los Alamitos Chamber of Commerce invites you to Eat Local! We’ll get through this together!

Page Two gives details on local restaurants in Los Alamitos that are open for outside dining, curbside pick-up, and take-out.

Page Three contains an abbreviated event listing, and an announcement of the topic and speaker for the Cypress Chamber of Commerce (virtual) networking breakfast.

Page Four let’s readers know that Knott’s Berry Farm’s experimental “Taste of Calico” was so successful that it has been expanded to include eateries all over the Farm. Readers are also informed of an opportunity to Serve Los Al through a drive to donate hygiene supplies.

Pages Five and Six hold puzzles for the first week of August 2020.

Our day-by-day listing of local events is very short because many annual events are canceled, like the Concerts on the Green in Cypress. (We’d be happy if a six-page DARTS becomes a historical artifact by September! But nobody really knows!) Check our AWESOME Community Calendar online for in-person and virtual local events.
