John Boyega is one of the best and brightest stars working in the industry right now. After his breakout role in Attack the Block (Which you should watch if you haven’t already), he has starred in the Star Wars prequel trilogy, Katheryn Bigelow’s Detroit, voiced Bigwig in the TV mini-series Watership Down, and is all set to wow the world again via his collaboration with the Steve McQueen in Small Axe. But while he’s busy preparing for his future projects, it’s interesting to know that two of his ardent fans are fighting over him, in a socially distant fashion, of course.

Well, okay, they i.e. Bria Samone Henderson and Danielle Pinnock, aren’t actually fighting. Instead they’re playing characters who are exchanging verbal blows. However, they’re so convincing that it felt real. In fact, I can’t blame them if they were actually fighting over Boyega because that man is fine (You know what kind of ‘fine’ I am talking about). But I digress. The whole altercation is absolutely hilarious because the two keep one-upping each other to win the contest and prove that Boyega is their husband. Keep an eye out for the photoshopped images of them with Boyega. It will leave you in splits.

Boyega is aware of this short film and evidently he loves it.

I don’t want to give anything away but the Boyega Brides do namedrop another talented actor and I want to see a sequel of them trying to win him over. And I know it’s a stretch but it’ll be great if Boyega can cameo in it as well!
