BSE-NSE bulk deals: Vanguard picks 59 lakh shares of Zee Entertainment

NEW DELHI: Deepak Fertilizers rights entitlement shares and Zee Entertainment were among the major names that saw bulk of their shares exchanging hands on Tuesday, according to bulk deals data reported by NSE and BSE.

The 30-share pack Sensex surged 601 points or 1.5 per cent to 39,578 while its broader peer NSE Nifty advanced 159 points or 1.4 per cent to 11,662. Banks and financials were at the vanguard of the rally while metals and FMCG faltered.

Here’s who bought and sold what in some of the key bulk and block deals of the day:
>> Amit Munot HUF sold 1.05 lakh shares of Agarwal Industrial Corporation at Rs 90.50 per share.

>> National Insurance Company sold 76,829 shares of Kesar Enterprises at Rs 37.02 per share.

>> Robust Marketing Services bought 2.03 lakhs rights entitlement shares of Deepak Fertilisers while Union Bank of India sold over 80,600 such shares.

>> Vanguard Moderate Growth Fund bought 58.58 lakh shares of Zee Entertainment at Rs 211.46 per share.
