A former U.S. Army sergeant who labored in army intelligence and carried a high secret safety clearance was arrested Friday and charged with making an attempt to move delicate American protection data to China.

Federal brokers took 29-year-old Joseph Daniel Schmidt into custody on the San Francisco airport this morning, officers mentioned. He faces one depend of making an attempt to ship nationwide protection data and one depend of retention of nationwide protection data.
