DIVISION 1

NOTRE DAME SECTIONAL

HOBART – Notre Dame won the sectional title to advance to state as a team, along with second-place Hortonville.

The top two teams and top three individuals not from a qualifying team advance to state, which is Oct. 12-13 at Blackwolf Run in Kohler.

Grace Durkin of Notre Dame was the individual sectional champion with an 80.

Individual state qualifiers were Jasmine Yang of Wausau East/West, Madeline Kiley of Kimberly and Samantha Pendowski of Slinger.

STURTEVANT – Callie Berg of Freedom shot 80 to win the individual title and lead the Irish to a second-place team finish.

The Prairie School advanced to state as the top two teams advance to state. The top three individuals not from a qualifying team also advance to state.

Xavier’s Lauren Haen shot 81 to earn one of the individual qualifying spots. Faith Flynn of Green Bay NEW Lutheran also advanced with an 87.

LITTLE CHUTE – The Mustangs beat the Marines 25-12, 25-3, 25-23.

Monika Stevens led Little Chute with nine kills, eight aces and six blocks. Callah Dornfeld added 12 assists, while Adi Dercks had 18 digs.

WATERLOO 3, KAUKAUNA 1

KAUKAUNA – The Pirates defeated the Ghosts 25-12, 25-18, 22-25, 25-17 in a nonconference match.

Leaders for Kaukauna were Maddy Agen with 26 assists and six digs, Taylor Tetzlaff with 10 kills, six digs and two aces, Paige Miller with 17 digs and Makenzie Michael with 14 digs. Alana Zarneke tallied five kills and five digs, while Avery Torrey added 11 kills for the Ghosts.

HILBERT 3, KOHLER 0

KOHLER – The Wolves beat the Blue Bombers 25-9, 25-19, 25-18.

Lillian Sheets led Hilbert with 10 kills and two aces, while Laney Halbach added nine kills and six aces and Megan Propson had 17 assists and three aces.

Hailey Cole paced Kohler with six kills, while Isabel Wichman added 16 assists and Dhanvi Kanade had eight digs and two kills.

ROSHOLT 3, MANAWA 1

ROSHOLT – The Hornets needed four sets to put away the Wolves 25-18, 22-25, 25-19, 25-20.

Kaylee Skibba had 25 digs for Rosholt while Olivia Gagas added 18 digs and Sarah Trzinski 10 digs. Kaydence Burclaw had a team-high 16 assists with Lily Lorbiecki adding 13 assists. Trzinski also had a team-high seven kills.

Sophie Lorbiecki added eight aces.

OMRO – The Lions swept the Foxes 25-13, 25-20, 25-22.

BOYS SOCCER

FREEDOM 4, LUXEMBURG-CASCO 0

LUXEMBURG – The Irish scored two goals in each half en route to a shutout North Eastern Conference victory over the Spartans.

Tanner Gerritts and Hayden Falcus scored early goals to put Freedom up 2-0 in the first 10 minutes.

Ryan Vosters and Caden Hansen expanded the Irish lead with second-half goals in the 68th and 74th minutes, respectively.

Garrett Zuleger recorded seven saves for Luxemburg-Casco. Lucas Hildebrand had two saves for Freedom.
