Pakistan has prolonged by one 12 months the visa of a 34-year-old Indian mom of two kids who travelled to a distant village within the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province to marry her Facebook pal after changing to Islam, her Pakistani husband stated on Tuesday.

Anju – who now goes by the identify of Fatima after changing to Islam – on July 25 married her 29-year-old pal Nasrullah, whose house is within the Upper Dir district within the province. They grew to become pals on Facebook in 2019.

On Tuesday, Nasrullah stated that Anju’s visa, which was earlier prolonged for two months, has now been prolonged for a 12 months after their marriage. Her authentic one-month visa was set to run out on August 20.

“The visa of my wife Anju has been extended for a year after the provision of related documents to the Interior Ministry,” stated Nasrullah.

“All Pakistani institutions are cooperating with us,” he added.

Last month, an actual property firm gifted the couple a plot of land in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and introduced them with a cheque.

Anju, who was born in Kailor village in Uttar Pradesh and lived within the Alwar district of Rajasthan, travelled to Pakistan legally from India through the Wagah-Attari border. She was granted a 30-day visa, legitimate for Upper Dir solely.

Anju is married to Arvind, who’s in Rajasthan. They have a 15-year-old daughter and a six-year-old son.

Her story is much like Seema Ghulam Haider, a 30-year-old Pakistani mom of 4 who sneaked into India to dwell with Sachin Meena, a 22-year-old Hindu man she acquired in contact with whereas taking part in PUBG in 2019.
