Time for sports starting things off with college football in Happy Valley where it looks like plans are starting to be made regarding a fall season in the Spring, the Big Ten postponed the season just a couple of weeks ago.
But it might come back sooner than most think.
According to sources the Big Ten will have a 8 game season, each team will get a bye no games will be held on campuses as the league is looking for a dome location to house these games, those locations would be Indianapolis.
Minneapolis, St Louis, Detroit, and even Syracuse, the championship game will be the 2nd weekend in March at the Rose Bowl between the winners of the East and the West.
And there’s a chance the PAC-12 schedule could coincide with the Big Ten and they can have a traditional Rose Bowl match-up. The biggest point of contention is the start date, it could be the week of Thanksgiving,
the week after New Years, mid January, or after the Super Bowl.
The league’s coaches and athletic directors met Today to discuss these plans, and they might release them as early as next week.
