The Congress’ Bharat Jodo Yatra, led by occasion MP Rahul Gandhi, entered Delhi early this morning amid calls by the Health Minister to comply with Covid protocols.

Earlier, Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya had written to Rahul Gandhi asking him to make sure Covid “protocols” are adopted throughout Bharat Jodo Yatra.

In his clapback, Mr Gandhi cited PM Narendra Modi’s current ballot marketing campaign in Gujarat and the BJP marches. “The BJP is taking out yatras in various states. But the Health Minister is sending letter only to us,” he stated.

Congress had alleged that the BJP needed to cease Mr Gandhi’s yatra as it’s afraid of the love Bharat Jodo Yatra has acquired.

The Yatra will make its morning halt within the nationwide capital at Ashram chowk at 11 am and can resume its journey at 1 pm. After traversing by Mathura street, India Gate and ITO, it would halt close to the Red Fort.
