NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) – It was an action packed sports Saturday in North Platte.

The North Platte Community College Volleyball Tournament saw St. Patrick’s, Sutherland, Hi-Line, Maxwell, Paxton, and SEM each place two games. St. Pat’s swept Sutherland 2-0 and lost to Hi-Line in three sets, (23-25) in the last one.

The North Platte High School Softball Classic also took place today, the teams participating are listed below in the order they placed:

3. Ralston

4. Kearney Catholic

5. Gering

6. Cozad

7. Chadron

8. Alliance

The Bulldogs scored thirty five runs in three games on the way to the championship.
