Systemic injustices are on the forefront of contemporary society, resulting from numerous conspicuous instances of police brutality and different harms. Racism and racial injustice are nothing new—however the murder of George Floyd in 2020 and xenophobia toward American Asians sparked an ongoing wave of consciousness throughout the US.

One of the simplest methods to help Black, Indigenous, and folks of colour (BIPOC) communities is by buying items and providers from firms owned by individuals of colour.
