Three instances of Omicron subvariant BF.7, apparently the pressure driving China’s present surge of Covid instances, have been detected in India to this point, official sources mentioned Wednesday. The first case of BF.7 in India was detected in October by Gujarat Biotechnology Research Centre. So far, two instances have been reported from Gujarat whereas one case has been reported from Odisha, they mentioned.
