Erie County Native Tree Scavenger Hunt: Through Oct. 31. The Penn State Master Gardeners have selected several native trees in Erie County to challenge your tree identification and riddle-solving skills. Just print the clues, rules and entry form and prepare for your trek into the great outdoors. Everyone who has completed the quest will have their names entered in a contest to win a tree in the spring of 2021. You must find at least 10 trees to enter and there will be 10 winners. Free. Asbury Woods School Day Drop-In: Register children today for a new program designed to support students in grades one through four on days when they are not attending in-person classes at their school. The program runs Sept. 14 through Nov. 20. It is designed to provide engaging, nature-based experiences that support remote learning. Students can attend a morning and/or afternoon session on Mondays and/or Thursdays. Cost: $25 per daily session (morning or afternoon) or $90 full-day/both days (Monday and Thursday).
